Two men were taken to the hospital after an argument ended in gunfire Friday night, according to authorities, and one of them has died.

Two men were involved in a heated disagreement around 8 p.m. Friday, according to Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Quincy Melvin, and each man fired a weapon at the other. The incident occurred on Pulaski Street, and multiple shell casings were found at the scene.

Both were wounded and taken initially to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville and later to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. One of the men died Saturday morning at Memorial. He has been identified as Terrandall Williams Jr. The other man involved has been identified as Donte' Faye.

No charges have been filed yet and the incident remains under investigation.
