Qualifying has concluded in the municipal elections for Flemington and Midway, and voters in both cities will have contested races to consider.

Midway’s election will choose a new mayor and at least two new council members.

Current city council members Malcolm Williams and Stanley Brown are running for mayor, as is Kenneth Allen Williams.

Incumbent council members Henry O. Stevens Jr. and Clemontine F. Washington also qualified to run for their seats again, and current Mayor Levern Clancy Jr. is running for a city council seat.
