Centerstone now leads Cohen Military Family Clinic

Centerstone, a nonprofit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatments, announces the expansion of its partnership with Cohen Veterans Network (CVN). Centerstone has begun management and operation of the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone in Hinesville.

Located near Fort Stewart, the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi River, the Cohen Clinic at Centerstone in Hinesville will continue to provide care for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, transitional issues, family/relationship challenges and child behavioral concerns in the nation. Active duty service members, National Guard and Reservists, veterans and all active duty and military family members are eligible for individual, couples, family, groups and events as well as case management.

“This expansion is a testament to our shared mission with Cohen Veterans Network to support those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country,” said Dr. Blas Villalobos, chief executive officer of Centerstone’s Military Services “We are honored to extend our reach to the Hinesville community and to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to military families in need.”

The Hinesville clinic, previously operated by Aspire Health Partners, will now benefit from Centerstone’s expansive multistate network and its expertise in behavioral health care, further enhancing the clinic’s ability to meet the needs of the local military community. In addition to the Hinesville clinic, Centerstone also operates Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics in Fayetteville, N.C.; Jacksonville, Fla.;and Clarksville, Tenn.

The clinic officially began operations under Centerstone on January 1, 2025, and services will be available to military families regardless of discharge status, role, or ability to pay.
