The Liberty County Special Olympics annual spring games were held March 28 at Liberty County High School, with help from Liberty County Board of Education member Lavonia Lecounte and Superintendent Dr. Franklin Perry. 

Walthourville City Council member Patrick Underwood also aided with the softball throw. 

The Special Olympics motto is: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
