A Liberty County commissioner was arrested and released from jail Sunday night after an incident at an establishment he owns.

Hinesville police officers went to the Huta Dispensary and Lounge on General Screven Way on a call of an overcrowding situation. Officers determined there were more people in the establishment than its allowed occupancy of 25.

According to the HPD, Frasier was made aware of the violation and that citations were going to be issued. The HPD said Frasier hindered officers by locking the doors to the building and refusing to leave.

Officers eventually were allowed inside and Frasier was charged with two misdemeanors, obstruction of an officer and overcrowding.

He was booked at the Liberty County Jail, where he made bond and was released.
