Father reportedly stabs son in Wednesday night incident

A domestic dispute between a father and son turned violent Wednesday night, according to Hinesville police.

HPD Chief Tracey Howard said Jaquincy Campbell was involved in altercation with his girlfriend when his father, Arnold Williams, intervened.

Williams went to the side of house on Bagley Avenue and allegedly stabbed Campbell, 28, once in the abdomen. The son was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. His condition is unknown.

According to reports, Williams told officers he did not intend on stabbing his son.

Howard said the investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
