The Lewis Frasier Road bridge over the Peacock Creek will be shut down to traffic for several months.

Plans call for the bridge to be closed beginning July 23 and it will be shut down for approximately 150 days.

A detour route will be set up and have signs in accordance with state Department of Transportation standards.
