One person was found dead Sunday night in a Hinesville mobile home fire.

According to Liberty County Fire Services Chief Brian Darby, firefighters from station 15 responded to a mobile home fire on the 400 block of Live Oak Church Road shortly after 8 p.m. The dispatcher indicated a person was trapped inside.

When firefighters arrived, flames couple be seen coming from the single wide home. Mutual aid was requested for the Hinesville Fire Department to be dispatched to the fire.

When the fire was extinguished, the remains of an individual were found inside the home.

The origin of the fire is under investigation.
