A new traffic signal at Highway 84 and Flemington Village Boulevard is scheduled to go active September 3, according to the state Department of Transportation.
A developer under a Commercial Driveway Permit has installed and bagged traffic signals and modified the median to improve mobility and safety at this busy intersection. Message boards are in place to alert motorists to this new traffic signal location and activation date. This signal activation is weather contingent and subject to change.
Motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices, signs and posted speed limits as drivers become acclimated to the new signal location.
