Two Kamikaze deaths on both the final stocks in the games led to a 2-0 set victory and a 3-0 match win.
For Tsunami Tsmash, they knew that this week’s match was likely a do-or-die situation for them in terms of the state playoffs. They took on Greater Atlanta Christian as they looked to avoid a fourth straight loss.

Divine Nunnery was up next as he used Incineroar to take on Donkey Kong in the first game of the set. His opponent was undefeated on the season coming into the match and that stayed that way in the first game.
Nunnery was down 2-1, but worked back into the game and had his opponent on the ropes before he fell, thanks to an offstage grab combo.
He decided to switch to Wolf for the second game, but that proved to be costly as Nunney fell 3-0 to drop the set 2-0 and put Tsunami in a dire situation.

He ended up dropping the game 2-0 to lose the set 2-0 and the match 3-1.
With the loss, Tsunami falls to 3-4 on the year and a win next week is absolutely necessary if they want to make the state playoffs for the first time in team history.
Splash Smash is now 5-2 on the year as they look to make the state playoffs for the eighth straight season. Both teams played in the regular season finale on Wednesday, November 12.
