Two Fort Stewart soldiers have been displaced after their home was damaged by a fire Thursday.
According to Hinesville Fire Department Investigator Mike Scoggins, the fire began shortly after 5 p.m. on the 800 block of Taylor Road. When firefighters arrived, the single-story home was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters brought the fire under control within several minutes.
There were no injuries reported and the Red Cross has been notified to provide assistance.
