Dear Editor,
Project Reach G.A.N.G. Inc. and its Executive Director Lavonia LeCounte give all credit to God for inspiring them to host this outstanding event. A special thanks to all the program participants, sponsors, vendor participants, youth, and parents. There would not have been a rally without you. The rally was indeed a blessing to our county and a tremendous success: Teachers and paraprofessionals received gift cards and baskets to stock their classrooms, graduating seniors attending college or technical college received laptops and chrome books.
Plans have begun for the 28th Annual Back to School Rally.
The rally will be held on July 11, 2026. Contact us at projectreach_ gang@yahoo.com to obtain a preregistration form.
Project Reach G.A.N.G. Inc. would like to thank each of you from the bottom of their hearts.
If you contributed and your name is not listed; it is because your information was received after the printing of this letter to the editor. A very special thanks to the Liberty County School System for the use of their grounds and the great support, and a super big thanks to the Liberty County Sheriff ’s Office for their support and security.
We could not have done this without God and your support.
We hope to see you at our 28th Annual Back to School Rally on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. with a tentative location of Liberty County High School.
Plans are already in motion to ensure that no family will leave without.
