Liberty County commissioners honored the Liberty County Recreation Department’s winners at the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association’s state track meet, held at Lovejoy’s Twelve Oaks Stadium.

 Eleven athletes claimed a total of 12 gold medals. Winners were: Ameira Zerangue, Brieon Richardson, Destini Wells, Dominique Jones, Janelle Perry, Josiah Triplett, Kaiden Miller, Romeo Daughtry, Tristan Green, Zailynn Porter and Zyreona Stewart.
