Eagles announce kickoff times for handful of games

Kickoff times for some of Georgia Southern's games, including its opener at Southern Cal and at Fresno State, have been announced.

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern Athletics Department, in conjunction with the Sun Belt Conference and league television partners, announced numerous game times for contests in the 2025 college football season.
The Eagles open the season at Fresno State on Saturday, Aug. 30 in a game that will kick off at 9:30 p.m. (ET)/6:30 p.m. (local) and be broadcast by FS1. Georgia Southern's second game, coming a week later on Saturday, Sept. 6 at USC, will kick at 7:30 p.m. (ET)/4:30 p.m. (local) and also will be broadcast on FS1.
Georgia Southern opens its home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 13 against Jacksonville State and then hosts Maine on Saturday, Sept. 20. Both of those games are scheduled for 7 p.m. kicks and will be broadcast on E+.
Additionally, Georgia Southern's two Thursday night games (Southern Miss on Oct. 9 and at App State on Nov. 6) will kick at either 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m., and will be shown nationally on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The 2025 Sun Belt Football Championship Game will move to a Friday night and will be nationally televised on ESPN. The 2025 championship game is slated for 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, on ESPN. The game will feature the champions of the conference's East and West Divisions and will be played at the site of the divisional winner with the best overall conference record.
ESPN has televised the Sun Belt Football Championship game since its inception in 2018.
The remainder of the game times will be announced at a later date, no later than 12 days prior to kickoff.
