The basket put the Bradwell Institute junior over the 1,000-point mark for his career, becoming one of the fastest boys in Tigers’ basketball history to accomplish the feat.
It was one of the highlights in Bradwell’s blowout win Tuesday.
The Tigers ran their record to 17-4 on the season and 4-1 in Region 1-AAAAA with a 78-33 rout of Glynn Academy.
The Lady Tigers kept their region record intact with a 49-35 win over Glynn Academy. Bradwell’s girls improved to 19-2 on the year and moved to 5-0 in the region.
Parris Parham had a game-high 18 points, while Jamia Ousley added 10 and Ja’Nya Bush scored eight. Faith Jernigan led the Red Terrors with 11 points.
Bradwell finishes the regular season with three more home games, starting with Friday’s matchup with South Effingham. Bradwell hosts Statesboro on February 4 and Brunswick on February 8.
