Tigers post second easy win over Knights in as many weeks

The Bradwell Institute Tigers dispatched the Windsor Forest Knights with as much ease Monday as they did in their season opener to the basketball campaign.

The Tigers, now 4-0, opened the Joe Greene Classic in Savannah on Monday with a 90-50 win over the Knights, just 10 days after a 38-point rout.

Five Tigers finished in double figures, with Chris Perry’s 18 points leading the way. Jordan Gregg added 16 points, Jah’Barri Felix and Dorian Cavewynter each had 15 points and Zi’on Thomas scored 11. Fortune Hicks added eight points.

Gregg notched a double-double with 11 rebounds and also recorded four assists and five steals. Antonio Haynes registered four assists and five steals and Felix added three assists and five steals.

The Tigers went to 2-0 with a 68-50 win over the St. Andrew’s Lions. Perry had 22 points, Thomas added 16 points and seven rebounds, Eli Hale scored 11 and Hicks chipped in 10 points.

Ja’cari Glover had a double-double for the Lions, scoring 21 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.

Bradwell faced New Hampstead on Tuesday night to close out the Joe Greene and the Tigers are home December 4 against Lowndes and December 5 to face Groves.
