The Bradwell Tigers showed their big-play potential in a spring game clash Friday with Portal at Olvey Field/Hokey Jackson Stadium.
Jacobi Pasley, fresh off his win in the 400-meter dash at the Class AAAAA state track meet, sped through the Portal defense for a 45-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Wade Cobb followed with a 7-yard run to push the score to 14-0.
Pasley made a leaping catch between two defenders at the Panthers 11, and Antonio Burnett scored on a 6-yard run for a 21-0 lead.
In the varsity’s second quarter of play, Carlito Savea connected with Da’wahyne Chatman for a 30-yard touchdown throw and scored on a 2-yard keeper.
Bradwell’s defense held Portal to just one first down through the first two varsity quarters.
The Tigers open the 2025 season August 15 at Liberty County and host Westover on August 22 for their home opener.
