Windsor Forest brought the Liberty County boys and girls winning streaks to an end Tuesday.
The Knights prevailed in the boys game 72-61 and Windsor downed the Lady Panthers 51-44.w The Panthers boys entered their game against Windsor on a three-game winning streak following a road win at Islands High School on Saturday.
The Panthers downed the Sharks 57-51, following up a 50-43 win at Groves on Friday night.
With the wins, the Panthers improved to 10-9 on the season and 7-4 in Region 3-AAA.
Liberty started its streak with a 60-35 win over Southeast Bulloch.
Thanks to a fourth-quarter run, the Lady Panthers pulled away from Groves for a 58-41 win, their eighth straight victory.
The Lady Panthers posted a 64-17 romp over SEB last week. They are 11-8 overall and 8-2 in the region.
The Panthers hosted Jenkins on Wednesday in a rescheduled game and close out the regular season Friday night at home against Long County.
