The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Nafii Market on Thursday, October 2, at its location, 552 W. Oglethorpe Highway, Unit 100, in Hinesville.

Nafii Market is a locally- owned African goods store offering a wide variety of traditional and cultural products. From authentic food items and spices to household goods and specialty products, the store brings unique items from across Africa to the Liberty County community.

Chamber representatives congratulated the owners on their grand opening.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nafii Market to Liberty County,” said Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Executive Board member, Jimmy Shanken. “Their business adds diversity and cultural richness to our community, and we wish them much success as they begin this exciting new journey.”

Owner Nafi Kone expressed gratitude to attendees.

“Opening Nafii Market is a dream,” Kone said. “We are thankful for the support of the Chamber and our community, and we look forward to sharing African culture and products with the people of Liberty County.”
