Georgia Southwestern State University

AMERICUS - The following area residents were among 588 students who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremony held on Thursday, Dec. 12 in the Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center.

Brittany Angeles of Hinesville earned a specialist degree in elementary education Ineshia Powell Sellers of Ludowici earned a specialist degree in middle grades education Yeilin Roque, a resident of Hinesville, made the Fall 2024 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 845 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Haley Ferguson, a resident of Hinesville, made the Fall 2024 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 845 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Georgia College and State University

MILLEDGEVILLE Georgia College salutes all of its students who made the President’s List for their outstanding efforts. To earn distinction on the president’s list, students must achieve a minimum 4.0 GPA for the semester.

Local students making the President’s List are: Victoriyah Friend of Hinesville Dylan Orchard of Midway Abigail Rowan of Hinesville Dean’s list students must achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester. Local students earning dean’s list recognition are: Brianna Phillips of Guyton in the John H. Lounsbury College of Education Wigleniel Rosa-Hernandez of Allenhurst in the J. Southern New Hampshire University

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Fall 2024 President’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/ spring, and summer.

College of Coastal Georgia

The College of Coastal Georgia has announced the students who have earned their place on the President’s List and Dean’s List by their high academic performance during the Fall 2024 semester.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must be enrolled in at least six hours of course work and achieve a grade-point average (GPA) of 4.0 for the term. The students named to the Dean’s List achieved a GPA of between 3.5 to 3.99 while enrolled in at least six hours in the given term.
