A domestic dispute between a father and son turned violent Wednesday night, according to Hinesville police.

HPD Chief Tracey Howard said the father allegedly stabbed his 28-year-old son on Bagley Avenue. The son was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. His condition is unknown.

Howard said the investigation into the incident is active and ongoing. No further details are being released at this time.
