Liberty Regional Medical Center recently hosted its Annual Service Awards Banquet, recognizing employees for their years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to patient care. Team members celebrating milestone anniversaries of five, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years were honored during the special afternoon event.
The banquet brought together staff and leadership to celebrate not only years of service, but also the meaningful impact each honoree has made on patients, families and the community. The program also featured special guest speaker Donald Lovette, a former LRMC employee of 45 years and current chairman of the Liberty County Commission.
A special highlight of the event was the recognition of Donna Cochrane, chief nursing officer, who celebrated 30 years of service with LRMC. Throughout her career, Cochrane has been a steady and compassionate leader, helping shape a culture of excellence in patient care while mentoring generations of nursing professionals. Her dedication has left a lasting mark on the organization and the community it serves.
“Donna’s 30 years of service is a remarkable milestone and a true reflection of her passion for nursing and her commitment to this organization,” said Derek Rozier, LRMC chief executive officer. “She leads with both strength and heart, and her impact can be seen in the quality of care we provide every day. We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and the example she sets for our entire team.”
Rozier also praised all employees recognized during the event.
“Each of you represents the very best of Liberty Regional Medical Center,” he said. “Your unwavering dedication, compassion and commitment to excellence are the driving forces behind our continued progress. We are proud to recognize not just your years of service, but the profound difference you make in the lives of those we serve every day.”
The banquet served as a tribute to the individuals who have helped shape LRMC’s legacy of care. From bedside care to behind- the-scenes support, honorees were recognized for their contributions to advancing the hospital’s mission and strengthening healthcare in Liberty County.
Leadership expressed deep gratitude for the loyalty and passion demonstrated by team members, noting that long-standing employees are the foundation of the organization’s continued success.
